As its World Cardmaking Day I decided to attempt to make a card seeing as my lovely goodies arrived this week.
I was doing so well right up to the end when it came to stamp my sentiment which took me so many attempts to get the stamp straight etc, I was beginning to give up and admit defeat.
I know its not perfect and I will be first to admit it but it was either that or tossing whole thing in bin after spending so long on it, but I will get there I know I will ….well that is what i keep telling myself ! No wonder I prefer making tags as they seem to go swimmingly well for me
Anyway here is my contribution to today….as always thoughts appreciated whether good or bad

Awww thankyou so much. I did so well until the end where i kindd of botched it up but at least i have learnt from my mistake :). I dont want to give it away lol 🙂

Why is it that projects always get messy at the end? And then giving them to someone is the LAST thing we will ever do? 😊

I know what you mean. I have decided I am not giving my cards out yet as I am not completely happy with them, but tags they can have, but i feel sad when they will only go in bin after all our hard work time seems nothing to some folks lol

What about giving them to a shelter or nursing home? Then there’s not as much of a tie to who gets them? There are some people who never get a card. I bet they’d be so excited to receive one❤️

I think it is super! So many different interesting little things to look at. Your lining up of the stamps and dies looks spot on too. There is always something that will bug us about our finished card, but that’s because we look at it as a cardmaker, not as the recipient. Would you be chuffed if someone sent you this? Absolutely you would and so would I!
