So sorry for delay in posting, I have been very busy with upcoming Christening.
I was asked to make 60 favour boxes which took me a weekend to complete. I then also decided to make a start on Christmas Cards using dies from slow boat from China. Have to say I am very impressed with how these came out.
Here are my makes from couple weekends. Hope you like them
Next weekend I will be very busy making 3 Cupcake Bouquets, Macarons and 2 Tiered Cupcakes for my soon to be god daughter 🙂
Christening Favour Boxes
Well my happy mail from China is slowly all arriving, I say all arriving that is kind of incorrect as have quite a few more to come !
Had to have a play around with the new dies and I am very impressed. Also a while back I made my God daughters Christening Card, but when all the lovely dies arrived I knew I was not 100% happy with it so I re did it and I am alot happier.
Here are a few cards I made… Hope you like them
So pleased that some of my happy mail from China is slowly ( and I mean slowly ) arriving.
As a fan of Hawaii Five O, I just love the bright colours and Hibiscus flowers so when I saw some Hibiscus backing paper my brain was working overdrive, which is a shame as often my images from my head do not materialise to what I want to achieve.
This die is perfect as comes with Palm Trees and 4 different sizes Surfboards.
These cards were very quickly done as wanted to make sure the die was fine and no problems.
I am sure there are many more ways to use this fab die but as still waiting for slow boat from China there is not much I can do until the other dies arrive.
Well Father’s Day is nearly here so had to get my thinking cap on. As my dad is a big fan of FC Barcelona and also wishes he had a VW Campervan what better way than to mix the 2 together.
The colour’s may not mean much to many of you but the top layer are FC Barcelona’s home colour’s and the bottom layer are their away colour’s plus the colour’s of Catalan.
Now my dad has a VW Campervan !

Following my recent post on Digi Stamps I decided to give it a go. I have to admit although I am not brilliant at cutting, I am pleased with this draft result.
Now for the next few weekends I will attempt to have a go with other digi stamps providing I can find time as been asked to make cupcakes, baby shower tags …. Where is my craft time ?!

Dig Stamps… What are your views on them ? Do you use them ? Have any favourite ones or sites you buy them from ?
The reason I ask is that I have been trawling the internet for some Digi Stamps and found some fab freebies of these. I am thinking these are a good back up for hard to buy stamps and dies.
I was after a “gumball machine” stamp and die set but what I found was so expensive so for 76p I bought a lovely digi stamp set. Then another set popped up at me which was ” milk and cookies” again same price which I thought was great value, and as usual one picture lead to another and so my freebies of digi stamps started……
Maybe I have few too many as I simply have no idea where or what one to start with !
Do I start with Gumball, Milk and Cookies, Ice Cream, Travel, Cocktails …. Oh the list just goes on and on and on ….. I had to tell myself STOP !! purely because I was confuzzled with all the fab freebies and my head was starting to overload (which is easy for me ). I don’t think it helped as my god daughter just gave me a huge request for Cupcakes, Cupcake Bouquets and 2 tie Cupcakes for her daughter’s upcoming christening.
So back to Digi Stamps….Love them or loathe them ? I personally had to look at them as I am not very good with scissors so had to look for easy cutting ones but cannot wait to give them a go.
Oh and the free papers I have grabbed is unreal !
Please feel free to let me know what you think, any tips or good websites
Have a good week
Just completed another Christening Card for my soon to be gorgeous goddaughter.
I was having a “spring clean ” and found some card, envelopes and pearl paper ! I had an image in mind as alot of you know me, they do not always materialise. But having said this I am so glad this card came out lovely.
Hopefully you can view this as a fellow blogger has informed me my link does not work. I have not deleted this blog so am baffled as to what has happened. If anyone has any tips please let me know – Thankyou
