I have been challenged to make this Cupcake Bouquet
It looks easy, well making the cupcakes is for me BUT however whether I can get the cakes on stay on the polystyrene ball is another matter !
And just to top it off my God Daughter kindly said ” If this comes out fine you will be making lots for christening ” ! Funny how I did not laugh at her comment lol.
Anyway I think this makes a wonderful … wonderful ?! since when do I use that word ! But yes it makes a wonderful Birthday, Mother’s Day, Christening etc floral / cake display and present.
If mine is successful I will post a photo as making one for Mother’s Day
Go on give it a go !
So as today was miserable weather I decided to make a couple of cards – well template’s of cards after browsing Pinterest for ideas.
I know these cards are again not 100% perfect, just merely templates for when I do make them for various occasions.
I made 3 Thankyou cards for my godson Nanna ( as unsure what one to give her ) as she kindly made me a nap map and next week I will be making her a Scrabble Family Name Frame as a Thankyou for her kind gesture.
The Unicorn does look plain I will admit but I am aware it needs a colour background I was so undecisive of what colour so left it blank for now….maybe pastel blue, pink, orange ??? Hmm I don;t know !
Supplies :- Clearly Besotted Stamps – Thankyou, Flower Blocks & Forgive Me Flowers. Dies :- CBS Flower Blocks & Marianne Designs Eline & Unicorn Die. Inks- Memento Dew Drops
I just recently bought WRMK Precision Press Stamping Tool from CraftWorld after reading so many fab reviews…Where has this tool been since I started !!
I know there are other varieties of this stamping tool out there and I am not going to make any comparisons as I don’t own any others nor would it be right of me to do so.
So what made me buy this ? I suffer from Tennis & Golfers elbow and after a while I get excruciating pains and have to stop, Not any more with this handy tool. I must admit my stamping is now so much better and so much easier. There are so many pro’s for this product…. Light, Compact. perfect stamping, can easily re ink an image if not correct and not have to worry about lining stamp up, layer stamps, card did not move when stamping …need I go on ?
If anyone is thinking about getting this or any other stamping tool my advice is DO IT !
It was so easy to stamp and I did 50 Wish Jar Little Notes within approx 2 hours from scratch.
Supplies :- WRMK, Tag Die, Stamp Set – Scribbles Flowers CBS, Inks – Pickled Raspberry ( Distress Ink ) & Memento Dewdrops : Dandelion, Tangelo and Tuxedo Black
I have a Wish Jar to make for a Christening soon and coming up for a design was baffling me as really did not want the traditional “baby” stamps or dies on the tags. After looking through Google it then hit me … Scribbled Flowers !
This was my first mock attempt and although I am pleased with them I do however have 50 …yes 50 tags to make ! I will be so happy when my WRMK Precision Press arrives as be able to make 50 tags all with same design.
I then decided to keep playing around with this set and made this A Little Note Card
What do you think ??
Supplies :- Tag Die, Square & Rectangle Dies, Stamp Set – Scribbles Flowers CBS, Inks – Tea Dye & Pickled Raspberry ( Distress Ink ) & Memento Dewdrops : Dandelion, Tangelo, Cottage Ivy, Bamboo Leaves, Pistachio and Tuxedo Black
Remember my previous blog post Wish Jars where i mentioned using an old candle jar ?
I just remembered that they have other uses !
I was given some flowers a while ago and did not have a spare vase, but what i did have was an empty candle jar – can we say the make of it ? Am sure you pretty much know what candle company i am on about anyway ………Ta-dah a perfect vase and also recycling
