Sweet Santa Christmas

I have to admit after yesterday’s attempt with my Sweet Christmas card I decided today was time to get back to tag making, as soon be wrapping up pressies – yes I know its only October but it will soon be here !

I made this one yesterday….

Although I was happy with this, I was not 100% so me being me decided time for a change, so I re did it to this :-

Now I happier except upon looking at this now the stamping is not 100% accurate but hey ho I really cannot do anything about it now. One thing that did annoy me with this tag was the words LET IT SNOW  as instead of humming or singing the carol version Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow  I actually had the dreaded song from Frozen and I bet you are now singing that damn song ! .

So as things were going along really well I decided to keep on, as was on a roll after all.So to compliment my Sweet Christmas Card I went for it and made this …

Happy ? Well I was and figured I would make a couple more … .BIG mistake as the last two I am again not happy and should of stopped when the going was good. However I was impressed with the CBS Background stamp I used as came out so clear and crisp, unless that was to do with my stamping mat ?? Who knows

That looked much better than my first attempt of Oh Christmas Tree….

Looks very plain now I feel, maybe need different tree, bigger tree, maybe a different background ??? I have no idea to be honest. All crafted out now so am going to enjoy the rest of weekend, whats left of it.

Have a good week everyone and as always… any thoughts, compliments, criticisms, etc always welcomed 🙂

Supplies :- CBS Background Builder, CBS Banner Die, Lawn Fawn Sweet Christmas Stamp & Dies, Avery Elle Oh What Fun Stamps & Dies, Prismacolor Pencils, Dovecraft Christmas North Pole Paper, Memento Dew Drop, Snowflake background via ebay

All so cute. I love that Santa. I don’t know the name of the stamp but in my head it is now ‘Santa’s tonsils’! These will do your presents justice!

I had a thought – you said to offer suggestions so I hope this is ok. You mentioned that you found tags easier to make than cards. So how about making the tag the card? Either as a tag shape, or just make the tags and use either one as a focal point or three in a row on a larger, maybe tent fold, card? I think this would show off your super tags beautifully.
